Introducing Karli Kathleen Schoonmaker

Here is the long-awaited pictures of our beautiful girl Karli Kathleen. We had a tough birth, but Kelly was amazing and made it through! After a few days we got home from the hospital and are now enjoying the company of Kelly's parents and all of my family that is in town. If you want to hear more about our birth story, feel free to call!

She's precious! Laura and I cycled through the pictures a few times with Laura interjecting "Baby!" every other picture or so. Laura is not happy about the bathtime pictures because the baby is "sah" (sad) I can't wait to see her. So how are you managing to nurse her with all the company around? I was not a very good in front of people nurser for a good three months.

We just duck into the spare room and nurse her in there if there are people around. It is kind of hard, so we have to pretty much take off her whole top to get the job done, definately not something that we can do in front of people.

Jennie, that is my favorite part too. Kelly wasn't sure she wanted her to have the same middle name but I won out in the end. Problem is I have been calling Kelly Karli and Karli Kelly. Makes life a bit confusing
